Lo Manthang was everything I hoped for and more. Moti's knowledge of the monasteries, the caves, and the local families made this so much more than a trek — it felt like being welcomed into a home. The restricted-area permit and logistics were handled flawlessly.

I've trekked in Nepal many times, but Upper Mustang is something else entirely. The Choser cave region and the cliffs of Drakmar are unlike anything I've seen. Himalayan Zen's teahouse selection was spot-on, and the small group made it feel personal.
